Seed Swap-10 AM to 3 PM
Trade your home-grown seeds with other gardening enthusiasts. Bring your favorite flower or veggie seeds and go home with new varieties to try for free. If you’d like to participate, please preregister here so we can provide enough table space.

Intro to Permaculture 10 AM
Permaculture, from “permanent agriculture,” brings to fruition a philosophy of sustainable human use of the planet through a process of design.  In this brief session, we will share an overview of the philosophy and design process with practical examples of how you can put your surroundings to work in a pleasing and productive way.  Whether you want to produce more food, create spaces for family and friends to socialize, or to minimize the time you have to maintain your landscape, permaculture can help you work in harmony with your particular site to harness its potential.  Join us to learn more!

DIY Seed Tape 1 PM
Learn how to create your own seed tapes for pennies each. Seed tapes allow you to plant perfectly spaced crops quickly, with little or no thinning required. Once made you just place, cover and water. Select your choice of vegetable seeds to use when you arrive (carrot, radish, spinach, mixed greens). $5 per person-great workshop to do with kids!
